Walk for the World: Embodying the Energy of Change

Walk for the World:

Embodying the Energy of Change

Dr Joe Dispenza | 12 September 2023

Walk for the World, our first ever global Walking Meditation, is coming up on September 23 – less than two weeks from now – and I’m humbled by the massive response. As I write this, more than 82,000 people have formed more than 3,300 groups from 158 countries to register for the walk – and the numbers are growing by the day.

When I first extended the invitation to join us for Walk for the World, I wrote about the many reasons we’re walking. We’re walking for community. For generosity. We’re walking for love and peace. For unity and healing.

As it is for individuals in this work, there’s something underpinning all these reasons for coming together as a collective. And that something is change.

I’ve often said, about those who heal in this work, that they do so because they come to realize their practice isn’t about healing. It’s about change. They let go of identifying with anything outside themselves, and they work on their inner world of thoughts and feelings. And that inner work leads to a new way of behaving; to demonstrating change. When they change themselves, things begin to change in their world.

And this energy, the energy of change, is why Walk for the World is what we need right now. If enough people, committed to changing their energy and changing themselves, come together in community, generosity, love, peace, unity, and healing, then we truly can change the world.

Enacting Change – and Embracing a New Future

What do I mean by the “energy of change”? You’ve probably experienced it at some point in your life. If you’ve ever had that crucial moment when you made the decision to do something different; to change something about yourself or your life; you’ve felt that energy.

It’s the moment you realize nothing in your life will change … unless you change.

And it’s connected to an awareness; a consciousness of a new way. Of the possibility of something greater than the person you currently are, or the life you’re currently living.

When we take an intention and combine it with the energy or emotion needed to enact change, we overcome the body, the environment, and time. We move beyond that 3-D realm to access the tremendous, transformative power in the 5-D quantum field. We overcome the known past and the predictable future … and it becomes possible for an entirely new future to be born. It’s knowing that possibility can happen because we feel like it can. Over time, it becomes a long-term memory … a remembrance of a new future.

That’s the energy of change. And it’s stronger than any emotion we feel; stronger than any thought we think. The more we embody the energy behind our decision to change, the more we overcome the hardwired programs in the brain or the emotions that have been conditioned in the body.

Many of us remember where we were, who we were with, and what we were doing when we made up our mind to change. It’s a crystallized moment in time – and it gives our brain and body a sampling of the new future that’s possible for us.

Emerging as a Collective Consciousness

Now, think about what would be possible if we were to do that collectively – not working toward our goals as individuals, but working toward change in the world. Imagine what could happen if each of us understood that we’re part of a whole – and so, when we change ourselves, we change the whole.

If enough of us commit to change, and connect in wholeness, we could actually change the trajectory this world is currently on. Collectively embodying the energy of change, we could – we can – create a new future.

At our retreats around the world, we see what’s possible when people come together with a shared vision and commitment to change. There’s a multiplying effect; an amplification of energy. As their hearts and brains become more and more coherent, a collective consciousness develops. An emergence.

If you’ve ever seen giant flocks of birds or massive schools of fish moving in unison, you’ve seen an emergence. Hundreds or thousands of individuals merging into one being; one organism; working together for the greater good of the whole.

We see the same at our retreats – groups of 1,500, or 3,000, or 7,000 people, embracing and embodying the energy of change, in a truly revolutionary way.

Now, with Walk for the World, more than 82,000 people are coming together in the energy of change. Imagine the possibilities. As I’ve written about before, collective networks of observers determine reality. And it’s not the number of people or the amount of energy; it’s the strongest, most coherent signal that has the most impact.

This global walk is an opportunity for us to emerge as a collective consciousness – and co-create a brilliant new future.

The World Needs Us. The World Needs You.

As a community, we will move in unison; in cooperation and collaboration – instead of competition. We’ll connect in love. In gratitude. In care, kindness, and joy. In freedom and inspiration.

And it all begins in the creative center – in the heart. We connect in a deeper way, at a greater level of energy, and as a greater consciousness, when we’re all in our hearts. And that can enable us to solve the problems of this world – problems that were created from a lower level of consciousness (or unconsciousness).

It’s what the world needs now, more than ever. The only way, in this critical time, we can actually begin to create change is to become that change.

That means we have to bring our open hearts. And we have to bring our open minds. Relaxed in the heart; awake in the brain. We have to demonstrate what the world could look like – by becoming it.

And when we do that, we give others permission to do the same.

If you’ve ever wondered if you could make a difference … if you’ve ever felt discouraged … if you’ve ever thought, “I’m just one person; what can I do?” … Walk for the World is your chance to become part of something bigger; to become part of the whole. To embody the energy of change – and emerge as part of a collective consciousness.

The world needs us. The world needs you.

Change yourself; change the world. Invite your family, friends, neighbors, coworkers, and anyone you know. I hope to see you on September 23.
